Certified and Non-Certified Translations
Certified translations are authenticated by a sworn translator through a stamp and signature and are recognized by official entities.
If the document is used abroad, a 1961 Hague Convention Apostil will be required. The Apostil needs to be stamped in the country of origin. For Argentine public documents to be valid abroad, one should obtain the Apostil through the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship. If the document was issued outside the area of the City of Buenos Aires, it should also be authenticated by the Interior Ministry.
Non-certified translations do not require an official seal and signature and are not intended for official use.
